Community Talks & Walks
East Ayrshire
Woodlands can provide illustrated talks on a variety of conservation
and woodland subjects to community groups and other groups. These can also take
place in our woodlands, as well as in a centre or hall. (some recent talks highlighted
below)
We are also
happy to lead community groups and other groups around one of our
woodland sites, if there is a particular subject you would like for an organised
walk.
Example walks could be;
Woodland management
Tree identification & folklore
Introduction to woodland birdsong
There would
be a small charge per head or group for a nature walk and we would
normally require a minimum of 6 people.
