Habitat: Woodland fringes, hedgerows, scrub, often around
sparse tree cover at elevated heights
Breeding: Over 2 000 000 breeding pairs, up to 9 eggs,
fledging in up to 16 days
Food: Insects and aphids
Call Note: A soft "Hoo-eet"
