Formal opening of
Hannahston Community Woodland and trim track.
Friday 4th August saw an excellent turn out
for the formal opening of Hannahston Community
Woodland by Cathiy Jamieson MSP.
East Ayrshire Council representatives included
Chief Executive Fiona Lees and Councillor Tommy
Farrell along with a number of agencies involved in the site including East
Ayrshire Woodlands who manage
the site, site owners, ATH Resources, Drongan Health Initative, local communiy
police officers and
Hope Homes. Following a formal opening, a large group of local children took
part in environmental
education activities around the site.
