Status: Winter Visitor
Scots Names: Blue Back, Feltie, Grey Thrush
Size: 22-27cm Length
Habitat: Woodland, hedgerows, scrub, farmland, parks & gardens
Breeding: Very minimal breeding in UK, on average less than a dozen pairs
Food: Mainly berries, also fruit, worms and insects
Call Note: A harsh and distinctive "chakk-chakk-chakk" often as flock moves bit by bit from one
tree or berry bearing hedgerow to another.
Status: AMBER
