Status: Resident all year round
Scots Names: Mavie, Throstle, Thissel Cok
Size:
Habitat: Parks, gardens, all types of woodland,
churchyards and hedgerows.
Breeding:
Call Note: A soft "Seep". The song is very distinctive, with
a series of calls repeated several times, loudly and clearly, often from the
tope of a tall tree. Best heard at dusk and is often the last bird to stop
singing.
