Birdsong walk at Burnhouse Brae

The group enjoyed a lovely summer walk at Burnhouse Brae, Galston armed with binoculars,
bird books and a CD player to attract some of the resident birds
and summer migrants of the wood.

From the playing of the first call, the group were inundated with inquisitive wrens, which
followed us throughout the walk, with robins, blackcaps and
blackbirds also showing well.
